Red Farmhouse

The original farmhouse has been turned over for use of the holidaymaker. It sleeps 8 plus baby upstairs & there is a bed settee in the lounge for 2 more. It is the ideal size for the larger family, extended family or two families holidaying together.

The farmhouse is south facing, overlooking the courtyard & at the bottom of the garden is the swimming pool.

Inside is a large living area. The comfortable lounge snuggles round the wood burner, great for curling up with a book. The dining end supports a large wooden table, big enough for 10+, ideal for family board games as well as meals!! We have high chairs, booster seats, plastic plates & children's cutlery too.

The large airy kitchen is through a door off the dining area, with all facilities with the added luxury of a dishwasher. Leading out past the lobby & backdoor is a downstairs bathroom. A full sized bath with shower attachment, baby baths, toilet, bidet & washbasin.

The staircase (with stair gates top & bottom) rises out of the living area to a landing with 5 doors.
Door 1 sleeps 2.

The red room, with twin beds.
Door 2 sleeps 3.

The blue room. A double bed and a single bed.
Door 3 sleeps 1. A single.
Door 4 sleeps 2.

The double room with room for a cot or mini bed.
Door 5

All beds are ready to sleep in, with sheets, pillowcases & duvet covers all supplied.

There are blackout blinds on all the velux windows (except the bathroom one). These are the 'occulant' ones that will also keep the heat from the sun out too if left down, with the window open on the safety catch during the day.

Blue Cottage

The Blue Cottage

is a traditional Breton cottage, of stone and slate.

It was first built to be lived in by the farm labourer and had a typical mud floor.

Times change & the hired help with his horse has been replaced with a tractor. The cottage fell into ruins and has since been completely refurbished to provide a cosy cottage, suitable for holidaying.

The accommodation is for 4 people & a baby.

Downstairs is a comfortable lounge with the focal point being the wood burning stove. On autumn, winter & spring holidays, the logs you load into the stove and the chestnuts that you collect to roast, together with the original wooden beams add to the atmosphere.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a full sized cooker, fridge, coffee maker, microwave & toaster. All pots, pans, matching china & wine glasses are provided, so to are basic groceries such as salt, pepper, tin foil & kitchen roll. We have high chairs, booster seats, plastic plates & children's cutlery too. The dining table overlooks the courtyard, an area that is protected from the northeast by the L shaped farm buildings and from the west by the trees, leaving only the south & its sunshine. A natural suntrap to sunbathe, breakfast, snack, wine or dine.

Back indoors and up the pine open staircase, large windows give an airy feeling and the “beautiful view” in the name. The roof space hosts a mezzanine landing on which there are two single beds. There is a double bedroom too. All beds are fully made up with English pillows & duvets, ready to sleep in. The shower room is up here as well with WC and washbasin.

There are blackout blinds on all the velux windows (except the bathroom one). These are the 'occulant' ones that will also keep the heat from the sun out too if left down, with the window open on the safety catch during the day.

There are also stair gates top & bottom of the stairs.

Mobile Home

Overlooking the valley behind the farm buildings is our mobile home,

sleeping up to 7.

Outside the Mobile home there is a wooden slatted terrace, protected from the sun by a gazebo. There is a patio table with chairs and a barbeque for those outdoor meals. There are deckchairs & sunloungers too for relaxing & enjoying the panoramic view.

Indoors there are two bedrooms, one at each end.

The first is a double bedroom. It has a double bed. There is a wardrobe, chest of drawers & two bedside tables. You can walk all the way round the bed too!

The second bedroom is one ideal for the average family with 2.5 children. It has a single bed & bunk beds. The single bed and the bottom bunk can easily be transformed into cots.

We also supply bedding for these.

Both bedrooms are equipped with wardrobes, mirrors, drawers & shelves.

The windows have fly screens & blackout blinds too. All have beds with quilts & pillows ready made up to sleep in

(saving wine & beer space in the car).

The shower room has a sink, a large shower with glass door and there is a real flushing toilet, just like in a house. No need to trek to the campers toilet in the middle of the night!!

The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need: a gas cooker with a grill & oven, microwave, large fridge freezer, coffee machine, matching pots & pans, crockery, cutlery & wine glasses.

The cosy lounge/dining area has fixed soft seating & extra wooden chairs for indoor meal times.

It has patio doors and large windows to let in the light.

There is also a pull out sprung facility to make a double bed.
For hot summers there is a fan & likewise for the low season there is an electric heater. In the cupboards you will find games and books.

If you run out, there are more to borrow in our house.

The "Grenier" (meaning loft/attic)

was originally a hayloft over the cattle shed.

The livestock are now housed elsewhere & the area transformed to provide accommodation for 5 people.

A double bedroom, three single beds and a space for a cot.

A small washroom/WC provides modern comforts and separate shower facilities are available.

Access to the Grenier from the courtyard is up a wooden staircase.

There are no cooking facilities in the Grenier.

Therefore if booking this accommodation you need to be either:

1. Staying full board or half board with us. 2. Sharing a kitchen with friends or relations staying in another property. 3. Catering with a family of camper or caravanners.
